Vision Academy Charter School of Innovation is different!

• Core Knowledge Curriculum. Our students deserve to discover the knowledge that builds mastery and improves thinking skills that are essential for success that is the foundation to the research-based Core Knowledge curriculum. No school in this district currently uses Core Knowledge to drive student learning.
• School day tailored to individual student needs. Not every child learns at the same pace. For some students, extra time focused on academics will make sure that learning stays on track. Students can stretch their wings academically through clubs, academic competitions, and other opportunities that foster and recognize excellence. Students graduating from eighth grade will be fully prepared for high school.
• Blended learning for all students. Students will become comfortable with the latest technology and become independent learners through the combination of the best of both live and online classroom experiences.
• Fully Integrated STEM Program for learners of all ability levels. In the STEM lab, students of all ages, interests and abilities will be engaged in personalized learning and intrinsic motivation.
• Teaching World Languages to raise global citizens who will have strong communication skills. Students will start learning at least one foreign language from Kindergarten in addition to ELA.
